Financial Troubles in America and around the world

Are you concerned about the financial state of our country?
If you are, is there anything you can do about it?
The state we are in is nothing new, but they are making it big news and I guess that is good, at least it is getting attention. We have been broke before and it has been an ongoing situation for many years. The best they seem to be able to do is prolong the situation for another term. Put another band aid on it and it will go away.

Yeah Right!
As an average citizen there is not much we can do about the country being broke. I think there are directions that CEO's can take to start improving the problem. What would that be?

Bring their manufacturing back to America for one. Provide more jobs for Americans. I keep hearing on the news, that we may be going into another recession. I want to know when this last one ended. They want us to think thinks are better, when looking around, there isn't much change over the last few years.

Then there are directions our country could take, like bringing home our troops. Use them to protect our borders, instead of Korea's border. I think Koreans can take care of their own.

Now there is rioting breaking out around the world because of the lousy situations. We need to do something here before rioting breaks out in our country.

I am not trying to trivialize the severity or importance of our financial situation, there just has to be some real steps taken to bring remedy.
China has bought much of our debt and that needs to change before it gets too far out of control. Before we put up all our lands as collateral, or our labor. Instead we raise the debt limit, cut important programs, and leave all the waste in place, maybe the garbage man will come next week.
It is most certainly no easy task, but I don't think bailing out the bankers helped anything at all, except enrich the wealthy. Again it seems every step they take is the wrong one, and really never solves the problem. Can't they start running the country like a profitable business? Maybe not, but then again, that is what Ross Perot said he was going to do. But instead we elect the guy who looks nice and talks smooth.

Real changes could be made that reduce and slim down our spending.

Reducing spending by 3 trillion over 11 years is not going to make a difference in the long run, it is simply a stop gap again.
One of the big things I would suggest, is have our Treasury Department start printing the money again instead of buying it from the Feds. That's the constitutional thing to do. Paying them to have it printed creates instant inflation. Think about it!
Are we so entrenched in our present financial system that changes cannot be made that will make a difference? I would hope not.

The trick is to take bold steps yet with conscious, so as not to disrupt the freeloaders and the fat and lazy folks who are taking advantage of the country's kindness. The days of doing everything in triplicate is over, do it once and get it right.
I don't know what the answers are, but have many ideas that would seem to make more sense than the steps they are presently taking.

In the now, not tomorrow, or next year, something needs to be done before we become a second world country. Yet I remain hopeful that the right things will be done and a real change for the better springs forth.
